So my fourth was cool, visited some relatives, hung out with cousins, and lit some awesome fireworks. In other news,the right side of my face is totally numb, I just got two cavities filled and my jaw hurts like hell b/c of the novacaine shot

Ohhh, man. That's terrible. All my other cats' deaths were long and drawn out, but they were all old and it wasn't so gory.

I dunno...how did your dad feel about the cat? My mother refused to even consider getting a new dog for ages after Sable died (Sable was even older than me, my mom had done all the training and shows with her), but then a few months later she decided she wanted to look around at one of the shelters.
