As university is a little more liberal than the schoolsystem, all my courses just seem to slow down and just somehow just trickle this time of the year. The lecturers want to go on vacation as well. Today is a public holiday, originally for "church reasons". It is even one we all get to enjoy, not just the catholic south. It is so unfair, the federal states seem to be able to decide which of the different occasions they choose as public holidays, so the ones with a more catholic population seem to work so much less. It is only may, but so hot! The leaves already have their deep summer green and the last spring blossoms crumble and fall. It has actually been a long time since I last saw a thing like that because I spend the last spring/summer in Spain.
