Gaming was great last night... even if I did have only 15 minutes notice to get ready and end up doing battle with my stockings in the back of a taxi -takes me back to my getting changed after work on the way to Notts in the back of the R1 days ( Read more... )

I'm playing in a Serenity game- to be honest I'm not that familar with the system itself, as we tend to role play most things rather than role dice for them.

I'm a ex-weapons trainer looking for repentance (my trainees having been used to perform some horrible acts). It's jolly good fun :)

Ooh.

It's the style of my GM. I've played in games where extra dice/difficulty adjustment happens for good role-play. She just takes it a bit further- there are still dice roles for combat and competing things (like trying to out sneak one another etc), but generally as long as you describe it well/use props/should be able to do it any way she'll decide what happens. The game flows very smoothly and I've quite enjoyed it.
