I've been putting off making this post, but as I recieved my formal offer today I thought i may as well get on with it. I've got a place on the Royal Mail Graduate recruitment scheme! I' well chuffed and I get to move to Sheffield in late November, which means out of Bedford and into somewhere with far cheaper rent :) -

Today was either going to be a fun cop-out, or the hardest day yet. I was going on a depo visit with another new gal- not the brightest spark, so I wasn't looking forward to having to chat with her politely for 3 hours there and then 3 hours back. Damn you British public transport system!
After waiting 20 minutes for my bus tonight (the final leg of a very long journey) the bleedin driver parked at the wrong end of the station then drove off before I could get to them! My last day as a Temp! Next Monday I start my first proper Graduate job as a supply chain assistant :) 90 % of my department has gone into a big meeting that is going to take most of the day, so I'm going to have to wait to get the cakes out. Well, Tuesday evening was interesting. Normally going out with Dad is a bit of a chore, but I really enjoyed the evening. We both got at least a little merry- seems alcohol has a positive effect on our relationship lol. He took me to a nice Italian resturant, and we had 3 courses!
