I want one of these but they are US shipping only. RUDE.

I only skated for about 35 minutes today because the rink was horrible. There were a load of annoying teenagers getting in the way, people talking on the phone and texting while skating (er, NO!) and one guy who was stopping me using the middle of the rink because he was so unpredictable I ( Read more... )

I managed a little bit of practice (and a billion forward crossovers) but then gave up!

I was having space issues yesterday as well, wanted to try to stop (it's still touch and go with these skates!) and get my balance on one foot... it's scary when someone is suddenly in front of me and I'm only on one foot! *giggles*

I need to stop purchasing books, I have a LOT in my reading pile and it keeps getting bigger!

We had gorgeous ice yesterday until a load of squealy teenyboppers bunked off school to go skating and ruined the ice completely! It was like skating on a concrete driveway! Grrr

Ew. It was freshly zambonied today but not that well - you could see where puddles had frozen!
