I have lived in Bristol for almost six years now, and yet this shocks and saddens me for more than anything that has happened here, including the recent rioting (although it was nothing here compared to other cities).

 I just watched last week/this week's (depending where you are) episode of Torchwood.

ARGH! *flails at the epic grossness*

 
I had no interest in this show at first, then I figured I'd give it a go; partly prompted by the Glee-ish guests each week, partly by wanting to know the one who ends up on the show. I ended up mainlining all the existing episodes a week or so ago and am now hooked.

I've only just started to tolerate Sela Ward's continued presence in my TV, but Alex Kingston's back now too? UGH! I had forgotten new Doctor Who would mean she was back.

My tall (but very lanky) sunflower died today :o( I was going to transfer him to a bigger pot with a taller cane, but he had bent in one place and then snapped in another. Boo.
