Alive, and living in North Perth for the time being. We fly out very very early on 25 June. We have two rooms full of boxes here. It's kind of daunting

All I know is that the handwriting looks a bit like May's.

The big clue that it's my handwriting is the way the 'A's are written. /random

That's interesting, because I looked at that and immediately thought "songwriting". The letters from A to G written in groups of four to me scream out standard chord progressions!

(The slide, however, was mystifying.)

Especially CFCC (typical chord combination) and ADDA (another typical chord combination).

I should perhaps have pointed out that the handwritten parts have no relation to the printed parts. ;)

You're on the right track with music, although it refers to individual notes, not chords. In a way it's an obscure pop culture reference.

Individual notes in groups of four are unusual, in my experience. Interesting, but I'm no good with obscure references, so I give up!
