Well, Clémence Poésy hasn't been cast either so I tought we won't see Bill either. Maybe in DH.... *sigh*

Yeah, it sucks, but to tell you truth, everyone kinda figured they were going to leave him out, since they didn't introduce him at all in the previous 5....but like I said, my big concern is the Gaunts. I can't believe it, we are probably just going to get a bunch of glimpses like they did in OotP for Snape's Worts Memory. Don't this people EVER learn!

seeing the cast list makes me wonder what scenes they left out, suppose there'll be no greyback, no Bill/Fleur... shit.

Dunno if you heard the remark David Yates made about the film that in deleting some scenes the movie would attract a new audience.
But that's just so argh! It annoys me that in OotP essential informations were left out, just let Tonks morph at the kitchentable or change her hair, but no word about being a metamorphmagus... :(

I also vaguely remember him saying something about keeping the Pensive scenes to a minimum, and now seeing these news, I'm thinking he really went too far. This better not be all about the kids and their stupid relationships!

Oh, but some good new for us RT fans, a lot of the fandoms like the idea of swapping Bill and Fleur's relationship/wedding for the very canon RT, I'd go with that...but somehow, I really want it to be Bill and Fleur, I want Bill in the movies! :(

Argh, these directors, bet if we had a fan filming the movies it would be wonderfully long :) hey, what about a tv show? every episode a chapter? would be so great...maybe if they consider a remake in 100 years ;)

Oh that would be wonderful to get a bit more R/T, if only in the movie. In that case I would also welcome the idea of letting them survive in the movie...there's hope!

ehh they are lame... i think i gave up after GOF and just started looking forward to the movies to laugh at all the funny parts they kept :/ Oh but hey in better news i'm making more patterns :D

But, yeah, I agree...I wasn't even a big fan back when GoF came out, yet it was then that I kinda lost hope too. So sad. :(

Hold on, relax. Read the release - it lists these people as returning to the film. Now, none of the Gaunts would be on that list, since none of them are returning. Just because Warners hasn't gotten around to making a Press Release saying soandso has been cast as Merope Gaunt does not mean that soandso hasn't been cast as Merope Gaunt. I'd hold off on freaking out about this - I'd say it's quite possible someone has been cast and we just don't know about it yet, know what I mean?

You could be right.

But why would they say that the cast is now complete? Why say that before, if they are going to release more names? It doesn't make sense, and it hints greatly that this is it, the announcements of last week was the only casting they've made....I hope you're right and I'm wrong, I really, really, REALLY hope so.

They would say the cast is complete because the cast *is* complete. Warner isn't necessarily going to make an announcement about every single part that gets cast, especially if it's a really small part, like the Gaunts would have. It's entirely possible that they aren't planning on releasing more names, but again, that doesn't mean that people haven't been cast. All it means is that Warner doesn't feel the need to release the names.

Well, I do remember the huge fuss WB made about Karthry Hunter (?) who played Amelia Bones in OotP and had like 2 lines. The released her name and her photo as well.
