I feel the playfulness. I also feel your concern with the composition. I would crop the whole right side by a third. It'll make the comp a bit more dynamic. There are some wonderful things in there though. You could also cut it out and place it on the bottom of the piece if you want to play with it some more.

I like them both! I must say, I don't find the tomato boring--I like it a lot.

Thanks! I was happy at how it turned out-- was just learning how to use photoshop to paint at that point. The one above I will probably drag into Artrage and play with some more today. :D
