Tomorrow is Tuesday already. I feel like I've made a jump on the week. This week we'll do more fractions, more Marsville project (It's already making me crazy,) westward expansion, and we'll begin reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. (Somebody tell me the html line for underline, please.)

Time to make the coffee and pack a lunch.

What is a Marsville project?

[lizmarie]

My kids are designing and building models of mars rovers. Kids from all over the state are building similar projects- systems to purify water, recycling systems, communications systems, etc. At the beginning of March we will go meet up with all of the other schools involved in the project and see what they have created. There is a website with an article and pictures here. The project is neat because the kids do real research and use real language for what they are doing.
