Must....get....off...computer. I am currently looking for grammar mistakes at the community grammar_whores. I am in desperate need of a hobby.

My parents called. They are back from Hawaii, and staying with my brother in San Francisco. Sounds like they had fun, despite some bad weather. Isn't there a commercial where a guy wins a trip to Para

"To be or not to be, that is the question." In my understanding an infinitive is the form of a verb with "to," (but not in other languages, hard to explain,) also described as a verb form that can be both a noun and a verb.

For the record I would like to say that I'm a big believer in tacit knowledge, which is all grammer really is. Few people other than editors really benefit from knowing grammar rules, the rest of us just go with what sounds right.

You're a Blue Rodeo fan, too?

I didn't actually think these guys got any airplay in the US.

Inspired by you! Actually, a friend introduced me to them. They don't really get any airplay in the US, but neither do a lot of bands/authors/movies/foods/cultures/ideas that are good and worthwhile. You have to really try here to be exposed to things that are not extremely popular of from the United States. Not that I'm particularly underground or alternative or whatever.

I hadn't listened to them in a while, but your post last night reminded me.

Yippee! Glad I could help a brotha out.

The thing about the grammar whores community made me laugh, but nervously. Do you scan my posts for grammatical errors, since I'm the Grammar Dog?

It's just a name... I'm not as good as I seem.

Please. I am the queen of typos. If you look at something when I first post it and then a couple of hours later you will see lots of mistakes that I have caught and corrected. I totally don't look for grammar errors in anyone's writing but my own. The grammar whores community made me laugh, though. They must all be afraid to post. lol.
