I love the idea of Beckett writing notes to Castle in his book. It's going to make such a perfect gift to him when she finally gets home. Gah, I just want her to go home too!

Thank you. This was kind of a last minute idea, as I was writing, it popped into my head that it would feel nice and a little natural for kate to try to filter her emotions and thoughts through castles book.:)

I dont know if I would directly call it a gift, because the book represents pain and forced solitude for them both, but it will play a role in the future chapters.

And dont worry. She is going home very, VERY soon. *mysterious grin*

At least he'll know how much he was in her thoughts while she was away if he knows she's been writing to him. He needs to know how much she's hurting too!

The suspense of this fic has me hooked - although I'll be glad when we get to present day, I'll also miss the suspense.

I think thats why I made such a lenghty introduction, so we could have all the information to understand what the characters will be talking about in the future.:)

And who says the suspense will cease with getting to the present time?;)
