So much love for this story. I jumped in around chapter 4, and have eagerly awaited every chapter thereafter. I reserved comment until now because I couldn't think of how to express how well you have captured the essence of these characters in a captivating, sometimes heart-aching and heart warming way. Every chapter is expertly laid out; the continuity completely cohesive from one installment to the next, and everything from the dialog to the detail with which you describe the scenes and feelings of the characters is amazing.

In the premiere when "Smith" told Beckett she should disappear, I immediately thought of your story. If they could do half as good of a job as you did here, it would be an absolutely gutting and incredible storyline. Part of me hopes they don't do it, just because if they put visuals to the tale you told, it would probably tear my heart out!

Fabulous chapter-a fitting and satisfying apex in the story for the characters and me as a reader. I look forward to the conclusion.

I should be embarrassed that seeing this story updated made me as happy as it did but it totally made day! Was very worried you'd given up but here you are and this update was amazing. You could feel the tension between the two while reading. You are such a great writer and you write these two so well I'm continuously amazed. Kate saying Castle was what she wanted was just perfect!

I loved this chapter! It's 5:30 am here now, but when I saw you had updated, I just had to read the new chapter before I could think of getting any sleep. This is truly one of the best Castle stories I've ever read. Everyone is just so in character and reading this almost makes me think this is the real deal. When Castle came back last week I actually thought this would be the episode when Beckett finally comes back from the dead before my brain had the chance to put me right again *lol* But waiting for a new chapter has almost become like waiting for a new episode of the actual show, so... there you go.

Pt. II: Here we go.

I really liked that Castle went to pick Beckett up from the airport, although I wouldn't have believed anything else. He's that kind of guy. And it was nice to see how natural they can now act around each other again.
Same goes for the dinner scene. Nice to see them flirting again. And my heart skipped a beat when Castle gave the manuscript to Kate. It just says so much about his regained trust in her.
As for that scene in Castle's apartment: Let me just say... *squee*

I was just thinking about this fic the other day and wondering when you would be next updating. Always happy to see an update to this story.

And sure enough, there's the familiar figure of a man with shiny brown hair and broad shoulders, his gait an awkward half-run as he tries to maneuver his way through the thick crowd. << I really liked this image, I can just picture it in my head.

I love the build up in this fic and the way Kate is so bold in telling him what she wants. I love the change in Castle too.
