I am not saying these are the best. I enjoyed these the most. Some of them came out in 2009, but some of them are older and I merely read them in 2009. I'm going to limit it to ten, just so it looks more official. Here goes ( Read more... )

Dude...so I am STILL reading Possession. I LOVE IT. And I refuse to watch that damn movie till I finish. But I get bored when they switch the style...SO I keep stopping. Like...I'll be all emotionally invested in Maud and Roland, and then the story will switch to Sabine's diary, which I will end up loving...but then there'll be some of the epic poetry, which I enjoy less...and then it'll be told in Blackadder or Cropper's perspective which I really don't care about and so I am sloooowly slowly getting there. But GAH. It's beautiful. I want to read all her books now! The Virgin in the Garden and The Children's Hour sound amazing!!! Also, she has a sister who's a writer too...but I don't know her name! Do you??

And I haven't forgotten your novel! It's on my computer waiting to be read!

I MISS YOU!! HAPPY 2010!!!!!!!!

I love love love Possession. I love when it turns into the Melusine poem, I love when Roland and Maud mirror Ash LaMotte. I just started reading her newest novel, The Children's Book. It's about this street urchin boy who lived in the bowels of the Victoria & Albert museum until the curator's kids find him and then the curator's wife, who writes children's books, takes him in. I'm not even 100 pages in, but so far it's lovely.

Miss you too!!
