I think you're absolutely right. We have not remotely gotten rid of all the double standards and gender bias that exists in our society. Not that we haven't made progress, but the job isn't finished. Women still get judged for choosing to be at-home moms OR for choosing to have a career, and unrealistic body images still bombard us endlessly. And don't get me started on far-right religious fundamentalists and their views.....

I vote, I'm finishing up grad school, and I'm about to start a career, so I know firsthand that we're lightyears ahead of where things used to be. I just hope that by the time another generation has passed we're able to see even more progress.
