Title: The Things We say
Summary: The things said during October still haunt Linksano, and he can’t take it anymore.
Note: Filled for Kinkmeme prompt - was I the only one who felt bad for Linksano during the October storyline? I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just leave it at that and say I've been hoping to see something sweet with him in

Everything was so perfectly written and emotionally driven, from Linksano's tantrum and crying in the lab to Linkara staying with him at the end. I love seeing characters vulnerable like this, and you definitely did not disappoint.
The October storyline really does have some potential for angst yet heartwarming stories like this, and I'm glad you took a go at it. So good :)

Yes, this was supposed to have a ton of rampant emotions from both Linksano and Linkara, and I’m glad that you think I did it so well. I love seeing characters vulnerable too!
I’m glad you found this to be heartwarming as well as angsty because I honestly wasn’t sure if there was enough comfort in this hurt/comfort fic. Thank you very much for your compliments!

I really think Linksano needed a fic like this after the October storyline. He really did get the brunt of all the shouting and insulting during that time and naturally it would've sunk in for someone with such low self-esteem.
When he was breaking everything in his lab and crying, I teared up for real. It just really seemed like he was giving up, I'm glad Linkara found him when he did.
“Forgive me if this is merely a difference between our respective universes,” he remarked bitterly “but where I come from, holding exile threats over someone is not symptomatic of a family-type relationship.”
Best comeback ever. Linkara really needed that thrown at him, I think.
Amazing job, as always, sweetie. Thank you. *hugs*

There were definitely some strong words thrown around in October. Everyone was saying all sorts of awful things to each other and even though Harvey was most affected by it, he couldn’t have been the only one to question himself afterwards. Plenty of regrets and hurt feelings all around.
Yeah, it was good Linkara stepped in when he did because Linksano had truly and completely given up at that point.
As close as the team has become over time, it’s important to remember that there are still some serious trust issues in regards to Linksano. I think Linkara tends to look past just how much power he has over Linksano while Linksano can’t ever really have any peace of mind about how easily Linkara can get rid of him if he wanted to.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comments! :D
