My sister keeps asking to come home. They won't let her. They're talking about sending her to a children's psychiatric hospital on the mainland. We don't have any money to travel to the mainland every day. If they send her away we'd only see her once a week :( They're just taking her away from us and we're powerless to stop them.
This is what bullying does to a family. This is the train wreck that happens when you bully a kid so much that they want to kill themselves. That they become someone who their own family doesn't recognize. I hope those kids are fucking happy now.
*update* My sister is coming home for tonight. She has to go back to the hospital tomorrow but if she has a stable night at home then we're hoping it will go in her favour at her assessment. We're not out of the woods by a very long way, but I'm just glad she'll be at home for tonight. One day at a time ....
