It's official. I need a new computer. with more everything. I have run out of space. too many pictures. GAH! SO frustrating. I need something that can keep up with me. If you mostly just need space, an external hard drive is the way to go. I suggest you back up anything really important to CDs as well, external hard drives can sometimes die (...and they're also easier to drop than a computer usually is).

Talk to some of the geekier people for brand suggestions :)

If you move all your non-necessary files (pictures, songs, videos, programs you don't use much) to a separate hard drive it will free up tons of space, and you won't lose them!
