B found out he could get dual citizenship so are about to embark on the process. B already has a green card (thankfully). It is funny because I think when the US issued all these cards some 30 years ago, they never anticipated that these new legal residents would not become citizens. America is very arrogant.
We're trying to determine now whether he can get a US citizenship without giving up his French citizenship. I think I heard somewhere that it was possible to do such a thing, but I'm not sure.

Actually, those links describe the situation from the opposite point of view (a US citizen acquiring another citizenship).
