It's hovering at around 90 in the house. The dogs are learning to drool at the sound of a fan being turned on and are warring silently over a bowl of ice cubes.

I was messing around with the kilowatt calculator and it takes about three years before you can justify the investment of the more expensive efficient model vs. the energy star. However, since our original unit was manufactured in 1985, the calculator is wrong.
