It's true. And the less you want to do it, the more everything is a distraction. This explains why I never wrote essays in school until the night before and then I spent many of those hours checking my email and playing computer games. However, I am a genius at essay writing and managed to ace most of them. The problem came when I couldn't do the same thing for math because I suck at it.

Put some ear plugs in and think dire thoughts.
