I am going to be completely selfish and update even though i only know what's going on in the journals of a few people. I'm considering deleting everyone off my friends list, bar about 5 people. It's not me being a cow, it's more about the time i have to read everyone's stuff and the journals i always find myself actually clicking on to check out ( Read more... )

Not that I assume I would be (or conversely, would not be) on your newly edited friends list... ;) just for info, you can filter your friends list to show only certain journals if they're the only ones you want to check regularly.

Then you can still read through the others if you have the time and inclination.

I never actually check who's my friend and who isn't... I update it and I read my friends page and never really fiddle with anything else. It provides a nice distraction at work. :)

Yah, it's just a pain in the arse because i'd have about a million different filters (as i actually do at the moment, and keep swapping people about into different filters. It's just much easier for me to click on one persons journal and read what they;re up to. I find the friends list system really disjointed as well, unless you're checking it every day it's hard to work out where you left off.

But you're still on the list. Jubilation!
