John and I were perusing movies we wanted to watch, but we try to check the Parent Review website first, just to get a good idea of what we're signing ourselves up for...  We were checking out Grand Torino...the nudity isn't too bad and violence doesn't bother me as much, but what I was really struck with was the language rating...

It's worth twice that. All of the language is a part of the character Eastwood plays. It's a movie about family and redemption. It's also probably the best movie I've seen in a couple years.

Yeah, the movie is phenominal. I'd gladly see it again in a heartbeat. I did cringe at all the cussing and racial slurs, but for this movie, and to get the point across, many of them were required. It wouldn't be the same movie without them.

NM. Found it. Having fun figuring out how bad my entire movie collection is.

"Shaun of the Dead" rates a 2.9.9 and was winning until I found "Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels" at 5.9.10. I suspect "Boondock Saints" would probably top that, but they haven't reviewed it.
