Today the enevitable happened. My grandma's dog Max was put to sleep. It was a long time comming, he as a big dog with poor breed, conformation and temperment. It wasn't his fault, life stacked up against him in so many ways. His breeder was a moron, my grandma shouldn't have bought a dog she couldn't train or physically handle, the poor guy had

Awww, good for you for being with him during his last minutes. I know it's not easy, it killed me to put Gypsy down, but I'm glad I was there.

So sad :( Good for you for being there for his last moments, I've told myself I will force myself to be there when I finally have to let Aspen go because I owe her that much, to be there when it all ends.

I'm so sorry about Max. I'm really glad you were able to be there for him in his last moments though, I'm sure it made it a lot easier for him. You guys are very brave to have been able to make this decision for Max, many people won't no matter how many problems a dog has preventing it from having the ideal quality of life. I hope your Grandma is ok, and that her injuries aren't too serious.
