Apologizing in advance for the extended metaphor and the whining

Right now I'm in a strange place in my life... a bizarre moment of transition. This doesn't feel like good transition, either. I love those times of life that are like riding on a bus on Tour, when you're in between but you know you're going somewhere, and so for the time being you can kick back, relax, and fall asleep to your headphones ( Read more... )

I understand. I hate the goodbyes... I just want to have everyone leave the same day and then I can pack and get ready and relax, by myself. It was good to get an update though, I felt like I had no clue as to what was going on in your life!

Hey B. I see what you mean about working hard and not getting even the slightest hint of recognition for your efforts. It's frustrating. I'm sorry I'm not home to go out to coffee and talk about extraneous and wonderful travel plans. However, do take advantage of the time you have not slaving over math books or Walt Whitman... both of which are my current masters.
I had my first day of math yesterday, and there is one other freshman. It's scary. We went over Taylor and Maclauren series in a rediculously small amount of time, and I called Dodson at lunch slightly paniced. I rreallllyyy don't remember how to figure things out in Sigma notation and it screws with my mind.
I plan to call you in a few hours and discuss these things. Call me if you don't hear from me... I don't have classes today.

Betsy, I have a seriously busy work schedule too BUT I do want to hang out with you before you leave. And seeing as we haven't seen each other all summer and then some, it would be more of a "hello" hang out time!!! (I don't want to say good-bye either).
