Mass is very soothing. Enough so that I occasionally sleep through the homily. Oh, hush. Like nobody else has ever done that. Personally, though, I like eaaaaaarly morning Mass. I hate being up that early, but I like being almost alone in the chapel.
I don't know what I believe, and I struggle with that a lot--but it's still comforting to be there. (Says the girl who hasn't been since last summer)
GP, I saw that heart too! I think I know what it was for too, but that somehow takes a bit away from the happiness you get looking up randomly to see a giant heart overheard.
I'm glad it went well though. Isn't it odd, how some things you dread end up being wonderful after all?
I didn't know you were Catholic, GP. Really, it must be wonderful to go to mass in such a beautiful cathedral. If I ever make it down to NYC on a weekend, maybe we could catch Mass as a summit activity. It would be kewl and different.
Vox: :O What? I never slept in church. Nosiree. I was too busy giggling with my sisters over the weird clothes some people would wear. :P
Polly: I saw the plane start to write another letter after the heart, but I didn't want to stick around to see what it said. The heart was just perfection. :)
Cait: So, when are you coming to NY??? This summer or next? And don't forget to bring Jilly. BADKATS!
