GP, that was wonderfully put. I hope you leave it up, if not to reach the people you are responding to, then as something of a comfort to those who share your views.
There isn't a real way to explain grief to those who have never felt it. For them, this event is much the same as any other of the world tragedies--horrible, but still something removed, something abstract. Something to be dealt with intellectually. For you (for many) it remains an event that cannot be reduced to an intellectual analysis. It was and is a physical, concrete, daily experience. You carry both the burden and blessing of memories that will never dim. Please, never stop sharing that.
