13 hours on a bus later and I'm in  Valparaiso. I like this city. It's lovely. Today I went to one of Pablo Neruda's houses, La Sebastiana. There is another one in Isla Negra that I might go see too. I loved La Sebastiana. Really he was the amazing, hilarious person, with a beautiful soul. Tonight I'm taking a bus to Santiago and I think I'll just go straight on to Valparaiso. I've been trying to call Diego's family for the past three days but still no answer, so I guess I won't be seeing them right now. But, I am going to see the house of Pablo Neruda and... I just arrived in Pucón about half an hour or more ago... an hour. The streets are full of people shopping or just wandering, tomorrow I will go see the national park and maybe the hot springs too, or maybe that the next day. There's a beach too. Mum, I will go and buy a phone card right now.

I'm in Chile, in Osorno. I will go to Pucón in a couple of hours. Here reminds me of the north of Argentina. I have... almost black hair!

 El Chaltén was so beautiful. I think it was almost worth the 26 hour bus trip to get there and then the 26 hour bus trip back (almost the entire way on unpaved road). I will put a photo on my fotolog at some point but all I have to say is... Laguna de los Tres: go there! It also was worth the 10 hour, 25 km round trip hike (large sections of steep ( Read more... )
