NO GAS ... on May 15th 2007.

Don't pump gas on may 15th.

In April, 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas
prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

On May 15th, 2007 all internet users are asked to not go to a gas station
and pump gas in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon

the only problem with tis idea is that some people wont need gas then and others will, so in the end we still have to buy gas at its current prices. :/

Our (collectively) best bet is to drive more responsibly - don't speed to much, keep the tires inflated, and combine trips as best you can. As an example, I turned in my first homework set for class on Friday since i was in the area of school as opposed to Monday, which would require a separate 26 mile round trip.
