Last night I got a phone call from my sister saying that her Bunny had an absess on her cheek and needed to be rushed to the vet. The vet removed a small sewing needle from it's jaw. Ariana dumped my sisters sewing kit into the cage about a month ago and we never found the needles. They must have fallen in the hay and lodged into her face. I feel

Not to assign blame or make the situation seem less serious than it was, but your sister should know by now that 2 years will get their hands on everything and anything they can. She needs to keep dangerous stuff like that out of sight and out of reach.
