Youmacon was meh due to me haplessly trying to navigate the ren center and brave the clusterfuck that was con elevators. Shitty pictures were taken, no good cosplay pics for me. If I can swing it, I'm going to attempt to show up for Saturday of Kollisioncon. No cosplay, just straight up photo taking/panel-going. If I like what I see maybe I'll go

I've been toying with the idea of making Gintoki's kimono for shits and giggles. And to practice whatever I need to do to make the pattern on the sleeves. Maybe once I get all my sewing crap organized I can make you one? I really need to get back into cosplay. Boo lack of monies.

And I liked the Gintama panel, but then again I'm biased. :p To be honest it did suffer from a shitty location and not knowing it was even going to be till like a week before the con. Doesn't help that it's such a small fandom to boot.

Oh I've got a pattern and some extra material so no worries there. :) Might remake the shirt too since I've got more experience under my belt and have a decent understanding of what the hell I'm doing.

Ouch, sorry about Youma being kind of lukewarm for you. ): I had a great time, on the whole, but the Renaissance Centre WAS kind of a huge pain to try to get around. It was the middle of Saturday before I was consistently getting to where I wanted to go instead of getting lost. ._. It also can't be just me that thinks the selection of panels was kind of lacklustre this year...

While I'm here - do you mind if I friend you? O: It seemed to me that we got along well and had fun talking at the (very short-lived) GL shoot, but... I still should ASK, after all. (:
