It's been an off day I'm really not sure what to do with myself. I rewatched Gurren Lagann and finished it last night. I've forgotten just how amazing that show is, so I began working on the amv some more which I'm only about 2 minutes into song-wise. Taking a break from pinning and sewing. Undertaker's shoulders and sides have been sewn. I ended up adding some extra panels to the sides to make it flare out more, and his belt has been stitched. Next up will be his sleeves and collar. Once those are done I need to adjust the armholes on the coat to accommodate the sleeves, stitch them on, sew in ( Read more... )

So far Undertaker's hat is pinned together minus the brim, which will be done tonight. I cut out all the pieces for his coat. Let's see if I can actually get that pinned together by tomorrow so that all that needs to be done is the sewing. If I play my cards right, I can have this done by the end of the weekend.

Room situation for Acen has been decided on. One of my friends gets a discount for Crowne Plaza for $99 a night. It's a bit of a walk, but it's a nice hotel and has free wifi. The price is still by far the biggest selling point ( Read more... )

So as a quick update on life...I turned 24, went to a goofy FYE store meeting in which we drew piggies to determine what kind of person we were (I'm a realist =D), ran another successful (albeit crowded) anime event, and was hired at Select Italy. The closet has been cleaned out. All old clothes are either being given to relatives, or dropped off to Goodwill.

I bought a plastic storage drawer set from walmart for $16 which fits perfectly in the back corner of the closet.

Moved the gamecube and my highschool yearbooks to the top shelf of the closet. Moved all anime boxsets to the now empty ( Read more... )
