I have nothing clever or profound. I've survived another year, hooray. I have a new (well, it was new last December) job; I'm now round-trippin' it to Schaumburg. We have a new (to us) 2006 Mazda RX8 6-speed manual. It's so cool, I don't know even know how to drive it. i totally posted this from my kindle.

We close on our first house next Friday! My parents, in lieu of the furniture they were going to buy us from our wedding, bought us a washer and dryer today. I've already been to two nurseries and bought a lilac bush and two pots of climbing roses for the yard (there is a HUGE trellis along the walkway to the front door). Pictures forthcoming.
