ATTN: Fake Fiance Candidates

Sep 29, 2005 10:19

I have decided to go with Hank (bluemanoncampus). But do not be discourages, because this is only for Family Weekend. I still need a date to Homecoming, so if one of you other candidates would like to escort me, I would be most happy to go with you *grin*

Of course I did, I met with you. I could have just blown you off entirely!

It was a very close call.

Men. You're so frustrating sometimes

Sorry, sweetheart. I already have a date. But last I heard, Jayne was still looking.

Well, have fun with your date *grins* Thanks for the hint, but it seems like he does not want much to do with me now. *sighs*

Come by the next Male Fans of Celine Dion meeting. There should be plenty of eligible dateless guys there.

Jayne ain't too fond of me either, so don't feel bad. You're in pretty good company. *wink*

When is the next...er...Male Fans of Celine Dion meeting? Is it before Homecoming? Because otherwise I shall have to look harder.

Well, that makes me feel better *grins*

I look forward to our charade. Now, what is your father like? How should I expect him to react to me and our engagement?

Well, he's rather naive and quite passive, so I would say that the engagement itself he will be delighted by. But upon seeing who I'm engaged to? He might be a tad, well, prejudicial *she frowns* I apologize in advance if he says anything rash based on your appearance.

So he is a good man at heart and seeks the best for you, but you and he differ on what the best is? Then I shall endeavor to avoid offending him. Shock and dismay, yes, but not offend.

Also, I can guarantee that I have already heard anything he might call me and worse. In any case, since that is the reaction we hope for, I won't allow it to bother me.

That is correct, yes. He loves me very much and I love him, too, but sometimes there is a conflict of interests.

*She smiles sweetly* I do wish you the best of luck. I know he's going to be a terrible trouble to put up with.
