I really want to get to know people, but not with alcohol! What is it with the obsession with alcohol on this campus, anyway? Isn't there a way to have fun without drinking rum or vodka or tequila? It's as if I'm surrounded by pirates

No, you are most definitely not alone. I just think it's silly that people want to inhibit their behavior and act like complete idiots in front of each other.

Though, I must say, at times it is very entertaining to watch other inebriated people.

Well, it's Sunday, so I'll probably work on the homework I didn't finish yesterday.

I'm thinking of burying myself in books at the library. It's also apparently the place to meet sober gentlemen, so perhaps I will actually get lucy. *grins*
