We left Innisfail just at the right time.  The rain started on Saturday night.  Our flight was at 5pm Sunday.  We were staying one hour's drive from the airport.  At midday, we decided to leave for the airport  as we feared the rising waters would flood the bridges on the way.  We got through easily, so sat at the airport for hours

Some say there's never a wrong time to leave Innisfail. The people there didn't make me welcome.
