New LiveJournal Android app, major update to iOS app
We have a bunch of updates about LiveJournal apps for both iOS and Android devices! For those of you using Windows Phone, fear not as we are still working on a new app for you as well!
Redesigned Android App
The LiveJournal Android app has been completely redesigned! It is available for download at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.livejournal.android&hl=en so go download it and let us know what you think!
iOS app updates
The iOS app has been updated, and includes many new features and bug fixes. The full list of changes are:
LiveJournal Classic iOS App
The old version of the LiveJournal app will be added to the Apple Store as LiveJournal Classic, so there will still be an option available for those of you using older versions of iOS or if it's just the version you prefer.

iOS app updates
The iOS app has been updated, and includes many new features and bug fixes. The full list of changes are:
- You can now search for communities.
- Both the lj-cut and lj-spoiler tag functionality has been added.
- It is now possible to edit and delete entries and comments.
- You can now compose messages in landscape mode.
- The layout has been optimized for use on iPads as well as iPhones.
- You can now use filters when viewing your Friends Feed.
- The app now defaults to displaying your Friends Feed when it is first opened.
- More posting options have been added: bold, strong, italic, lj-user, and lj-like are all available when composing an entry.
- Fixed a bug causing comments to not display for some entries
- Fixed some issues which caused the app to crash.
- General performance for Friends Feed and Comments has been improved.
