Nothing says community like enjoying the cool artistic pumpkins on display around the neighborhood during Halloween. To celebrate the holiday, LJ's offering prizes to five random pumpkin carvers and a grand prize to our favorite submission. Here's the scoop:

That pumpkin was carved by my cousin last year or the year before.

Can the pumpkin be painted? Or does it have to be carved?

My pumpkin rotted early and is already gone beyond repair. How do I prove that it was mine?

Same here, we don't usually have doorstep pumpkins here, it was my first attempt and I think I left very much too much pulp inside. (I didn't carve the one in this icon - or make the icon.)

The picture of mine shows it collapsing after frightening off the London demons for several days.

You had me at ipod..lol My ipod touch died a month after it's year warranty was over and they refuse to fix it. It basically tried to set itself on fire and apparently that is normal. Don't have the money to get a new one and if I feel like I am dying without my ipod!!
