TXTLJ Notifications

Back in December of 2006, we introduced TXTLJ, a feature which lets you interact with LiveJournal from your mobile phone. We'd like to know your thoughts on using this feature for notifications. If you haven't tried it before, here's how it works:

I'd use it, but I'm not in the US and my carrier isn't supported for text stuff at all. :)

There's not much point for me. I mean, if I get an alert what am I supposed to do about it if I'm not at my computer and my phone doesn't have web capability?

I like to use TXTLJ to make quickie "short and sweet" posts to my LJ, but I don't really see the need to use it to receive notifications. After all, I can (and do) check my E-mail for comment notifications, etc. In my opinion, it's just easier than getting constant text messages when someone posts something.

I thought about using it for that, but my phone has email if I just GOTTA post something.. so I can't see a possible use for this for me. ;)

Same here. My phone doesn't have web capabilities, so I just don't bother. Quick posts from work are all I use TXTLJ for.
