I really hope you'll improve the browse options that are available before you make a new one.. although I have to say I am sort of curious as to what a new browse option would look like. Dystopia - Xcolibur love child? Aww.
One thing I can never find is syndication management - until I memorized that it was www.livejournal.com/syn I always had to look in the FAQ for the link to it. And didn't there used to be a page where you could look through the top x popular syndications? The current syndication page only displays the top 10-20 or so, with no option to continue down the list. I find it hard to discover new syndications these days.
You could make a tag called "work" that you use only with work-filtered posts. Awkward, I know. It'd be nice if such a thing were automated. But at least with such a tag you could click on http://www.livejournal.com/users/brendand/tag/work and see all your work-related posts in one place.
That always happened to me too until very recently. But only at work. And that's because I'm using an older browser and an older OS and it just doesn't support the language used for the page correctly. Nothing wrong with LJ, it's just my system.
It's been working for about a week or two for me now and I didn't change anything.

And I agree: syndication management is painfully well-hidden!

Yes! That's it! Thanks! See, I couldn't even find it.
