Here's another little AJAX toy - a latest image script. It's similar to most other LJ image scripts, except for a few major parts:

1. It automatically reloads every thirty seconds without a full page refresh, although the interface allows you to start, stop, clear, or manually refresh.

Just give it a second and it should work again. The caching logic isn't too great yet...

I think your new tool will stir up a lot of interest, I truly do.

I think it becomes a touch unusable when there are too many new images as the page contantly scrolls around. Maybe limit to the first few images from a particular posting.

That's what the hotkeys are for. Hit s to stop the page if you don't want any new ones, or c to clear out all images.
