LJ Friendsmap update

Just a quick note - I've fixed my LJ Friendsmap tool, which scrapes the location info from your friends' profile pages and then assembles their locations on a Google Map, so that it now supports communities as well ( Read more... )

it's 2007 and we still have to scrape userinfo pages to get user's stated location.

Communities still don't quite work. I guess when there are too many users to be directly listed in the profile?

Yeah, that's a problem - LJ won't show that data to you unless you're a paid member, which obviously my web scraper isn't.
