Unfortunately, it won't help me, since the new layout in itself has too much white space even apart from the bio section, and that's what's triggering my headaches (and migraine if I stay there long enough). But thanks for the thought.

Hi, Thanks - Very good job.
I just have one suggestion. I used this on my bio which contained LJ user and LJ comm links (giving you credit for the script among other things). When I ran the script on my original bio, it caused extra HTML close tags /a and /b to appear around those links. I edited them out by hand so they don't show in my bio any more, but you could probably re-create the issue with a test bio containing LJ usernames and LJ community links. Just letting you know in case you wanted to tweak your script.

Oh yeah, it's that clever lj thing where it first tries to close non-existent open tags, then declares the added close tags superfluous and displays them as plain text. )) Thanks, should be fixed now.
