I just wish they hadn't put it into styles that already provided a nice link without any other fuss. Smooth sailing uses friends colors for the subject line, but the link doesn't obey the friends colors when that's enabled. So annoying and I haven't had time to frell with my style stuff to fix it and it's been making some of the subjects on my friends page a pain in the rear to read. *growl*

I love this, mostly because going to the reply link automatically annoys me if all I want to do is read what's behind the lj cut. (And yes, I know I can just click the lj-cut, but if I'm on a f-list reading spree, I'll open a separate entry in a new tab and move on, saving it to read in a few minutes. Since I won't have read the content before the lj-cut, it's nice to start at the top.)

It depends on the style. I have mine set up to link to it, but it's customizable.

I should've noticed that when I noticed the subject lines were underlined.

That was annoying, so I CSS'd them away.
