It's almost four years now, but I had to rewrite this hack, and host it someplace so that it wouldn't melt my server.

Hehe. Read the post again. I created friendsCollage "years ago", but had to shut down since it's resource heavy. It now runs faster, and you don't have to regenerate the collage if any of your friends change userpics.

Not at all. The friends list is fetched from LJ everytime you ask for a collage.

Do you see something wrong?

I saw friends that had been removed from my list 2 years ago... or so I thought...

Waitasec... Did you take off people on the ban_set list??? If you didn't, that may be it.
