updating FAQ 160

Jul 22, 2012 00:21

I am surely beating a dead horse, but FAQ 160 is out of date and has been so for awhile. For one, we don't support IE7, says FAQ 324, so those instructions can be removed. The latest Firefox version is 13, and the current instructions are fine; the "9.x" can be replaced with "13.x".

status-resolved, cat-troubleshooting, faq160

Made those changes! Er, except I changed the Firefox one to "14.x" since Firefox 14.0.1 recently installed itself on my computer...

In case we ever need it, this is what the IE7 part said:

  • Internet Explorer 7:
    1. Click Tools on the menu bar
    2. Click on Internet Options
    3. Click on Delete... (in the Browsing History section)
    4. Click on Yes (in the confirmation window)
    5. Click on Close (in the Delete Browsing History window)
    6. Click on OK (in the Internet Options window)

I've made those changes (FF is actually up to 14 now O_O ).

I just commented out the IE7 instructions, but if a docadmin wants to go in and haul them out entirely, that's cool :)
