Yeah, that was one I was thinking of getting rid of, though I think everyone's acknowledged that it's a joke category.

The two categories that confuse me are the Best Colored Manga Icons and the Best Manga Icons. I was wondering what the difference is.

Colored manga is specifically manga that is precolored. Best Manga Icons is like, the overall Best category, so for people who are best at precolored AND manga coloring.

I'm a bit iffy about the manga coloring category, since it seems like it might focus more on the actual coloring than what the maker does with the icon.

That's why there's a separate category for best manga and whatnot. Manga Coloring is to just honor the people that are good at coloring, because that is definitely not an easy task. XD

I don't see how Best Manga Coloring should be a negative? Are you talking about the coloring where you color black and white or an actual colored scan?

I actually think Best Animation should be dropped, because the general trend is moving far, far, faaaar away from animated icons, and...idk, I never see anyone make it anymore, so yeah D:
