LiveJournal Backup / Search Tool V1.0.5 Released!

The latest version of the LiveJournal Backup / Search Tool has been released - it is available from the website, or by clicking Help -> Check for Updates within the software itself.

New Features:

• Save your LiveJournal username/password so that you don't have to type it every time

I downloaded the latest version and got past the "download is corrupt" message, but now the tool seems to get to "downloading comments" and it just sits there... I don't see any files being created at all, and I let it set there for about an hour. Any ideas?

I've got this same problem. It's hanging right there for me as well.

Hey -- I just got this utility and it is great.

I have one question, though: I recently edited an LJ entry that I had backed up before, and I don't think the utility checks for that. Is there a way to delete that entry out of the backup, and back up the newer version instead?

Yup, I've added that functionality to V1.0.6 - It's in the browser, under options.
