good for you. extra good kudos for standing up to them. i've nevr found myself in line for jury duty, however, i think i'd be far too intimidated to do as you did, though i do fully agree :)

Thanks for the good kudos. What the world seems to do best is intimidate.

All I know is that (god forbid) I were ever in a situation where I were on trial, I would want good, smart, competent, nonjudgmental people on my jury. So, if I'm ever asked to do it, I'll do it. It's not easy, but it's what I'd want people like me to do for me, so if we're talking about energy coming back to us, that's the type of energy I would want to put out there.

I guess I feel if I were on trial I would put my case in the hands of God rather than people who will never really understand all the circumstances invoved in the crime they are judging. Too much to ask of our poor overworked intellects.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes it seems to me the system is very intolerant. It's many other things also but everyone seems to go with it either because they believe in it or are intimidated by it. I say there is a better way to go.

One day while I was married to my first wife I came home and found her gone with a bunch of stuff. After awhile she served me divorce papers for cruel and abusive treatment. Now at this time I knew for a fact that she was being a naughty girl with at least three different guys I knew of. So I figured this situation was too important to me to place in the hands of Mr Judge. I called her up on the phone and asked her how she wanted to settle things and she said she wanted everything. I said OK.

Now there were two kids, a house and some land and all the rest of the things that go along with living the good life. I only took what I could fit in a backpack and walked down the road totally in Gods’ hands. I know it doesn’t sound better yet but things do work out.

*frowns* Why did they have to be such jerks about it? That's not very professional and unbias like their work requires them to be. Ugh. That's just disappointing. :( Glad you were able to get out of it, though. :3

I think most people are disappointed in the system at present. Hard to overcome.

Thanks for the input.
