I'm exceedingly picky with my guided meditations, but I do like some of Wynyfryd's ones. I don't like all of them, but many of them are very good. Her voice isn't annoying and syrupy like some meditation readers, her background music is pleasant, and the meditations themselves, for the most part, are very cool. Thus I add my recommendation of her channel ;)
Does anyone else have any they like? I'm always on the lookout for more meditation podcasts.
I know! I know! I'm the same way, my voice sounds deeper from the inside of my head so it sounds all high-pitched and funny on tape! Like a kid's voice! But there are so many awesome meditations that I'd really love to have on tape or mp3 or something. Like there's some in Paxton's "Taking up the runes" that look so incredibly moving.
But listen to my own voice on tape? No thanks! -_-;;
I love you for posting this! Thank you! Feel free to post more guided meditations if you come across them -- I really suck at googling. Yeah, it makes no sense. I think it's my lack of patience sorting through all the crap before I get to anything good.
Christopher Penczak has a few books and they typically have a cd set where he reads his meditations that are found in the books exercises, although you have to buy them separately. His voice is fine, and the background music soothing.
I have The Inner Temple of Witchcraft book and cd set, and I love them, definitely makes guided meditation much easier.
